I wrote and developed The Rabbit in the Moon while living among Condesa, Roma Norte, and Juárez. Café writing sessions, walks through Parque México, and the moon above the city became part of the creative life surrounding the book.

I’m KD Schnee, the author of The Rabbit in the Moon and creator of Yabbit the Rabbit.
Yabbit began with my mother, Barbara Bedner, who helped me move through hesitation when I was a child. Years later, I completed the story as a promise to her and as a way to help children who need emotional safety before they can begin.
